Husted’s Farm Market has been operating in the Kalamazoo area for over 60 years. It all started on West KL Avenue in Oshtemo in the garage of Glenn and Alice Husted. Glenn loved to grow fruits and vegetables and sold them out of his garage for years. His love for growing was passed on to his youngest son Scott. Scott and his wife Mary sold the farm market in April of 2026 to Russ and Penny Ketchum and it is now known as Big Rock Market
We, Scott and Mary now are focusing on growing strawberries and raspberries for u-pick at our home. We are mostly retired, but still love to grow and farm so will continue to provide u-pick at our home as long as our community still wants to come out and pick raspberries and strawberries.
